Modern Foreign Languages

We teach MFL in school as part of our normal school curriculum as we realise that the earlier a child is exposed to another language the faster the language is acquired. The MFL taught is Italian. This is delivered by a native Italian  teacher to all pupils in both KS1 and KS2. All pupils enjoy the lessons which develop their speaking and listening skills, vocabulary and grammar acquisition as well as enabling them to learn about aspects of the Italian culture.
